Has anyone renewed their carry permit (especially in Arapahoe County) and used competition experience for the familiarity requirement? If so, did you just print out a USPSA/IDPA/Practiscore record of your competitions? There doesn't appear to be a minimum number of competitions (not really an issue) but wondering how closely they look at it. Do they want membership numbers from sanctioning bodies?
I wonder is NSCA and 22 steel count.

it doesn't say handgun proficiency, but instead says you may show "Evidence of experience with a firearm through participation in organized shooting competitions...."
It doesn't say how many. It doesn't say anything other than that.
Based on the live fire section and test that was involved to get my renewal I don’ t think they really care what you do, they just want to make it a pain in the ass for you.

Unless things have changed, your current permit is proof of previous experience. Some think that because the NRA certificate expires at 10 years another certificate is pessary. I live in A.C., have had my permit over 10 years.
Have the changes gone into effect yet?
