Please send Wolf Blitzer to the Korangal Valley in Afghanistan........

http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/12/21/north.korea.wolf.blitzer.notebook/index.html?hpt=T2

"I believe this( North Korea) is the most dangerous spot on Earth right now."

yeah go to the Korangal Valley or the Kunar Province and tell the soldiers there that.

Jerk off.

Sometimes I just wanna bitch slap reporters.

( And yes I know that the current tensions between North Korea, South Korea/ the US are high and it's pretty scary, however I doubt Wolf was actively taking fire from insurgents or had to worry about IED's on every drive )

That is the reality of reporting, and it bothers me as well. I once got into an argument with my cousin about the gangs here in Denver not being nearly as bad as the gangs in the midwest. He said something like, "Oh yeah? Well I was watching Gandland and they had a show about Denver gangs and said that they were one of the worst!"

[Bang]

I told him, "That's because no television program in the history of television is ever going to say, "Tonight, we're going to highlight a situation that is only of little to moderate severity compared to its counterparts in other parts of the country.'"

Makes people start to tune out the media when every single topic is THE MOST IMPORTANT EVER!

What, you mean you guys don't subscribe to the sheeple view that if it's on TV or in some sort of mainstream media it MUST be true???

Obviously, you are both beyond redemption![ROFL1]

When do we get a reporter season? Oh, wait, aren't they classified as varmints?[ROFL1]

It's not just US soldiers that experience danger.

Afghans don't got MLRS and gobs of artillery pointed at a major world city with intent to level it to the ground. Afghans aren't guided by a dictator who is absurdly prideful and petty, perhaps genuinely insane, stuck in the middle of a succession transition, with the US and Chinese militaries breathing down his neck. Afghans don't have nukes.

I'd back Korea being more dangerous. There's genuine high potential for millions of people to die in an instant.

I served a mission for my church in L.A.

My first area was compton/watts, I ate my first dinner in CA at a church member's house in the watts projects.

there aren't any neighborhoods in CO that scare me.

I will go with Afghanistan being a little more deadly than Korea atm.
Potential is just that.
Might happen, probably wont.

Shit is rolling in in 'stan everyday. Your Brothers and Sisters are coming home in Boxes Everyday. Not "maybe coming home in Boxes."
I get the Patriot Guard escort list, Sometimes I Want to sit and cry.

So yeah, China doesn't want a nuclear cloud on their soil. If the north fires a nuke into the south, China gets the aftermath. They are the big kid on that block. My vote is, China isn't going to let North Korea do anything stupid.
