So I'm pokin' around a major department store lookin' for some compression under garments (admittedly, I wear Under Armour gear for select activities, ColdGear on the hill, etc.) and this sales chic say’s; “…we now have Spanx for Men…”
Made me laugh…and shudder…”isn’t that shit for lumpy chic’s looking to hide for a ride?”
Well…it’s here, Spanx for men (http://www.spanx.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=4427296&cp=4017325)…designed to “firm the chest, support the lower back and eliminate bulk under the clothes.” Hmmmm…male pussification for vanity?
I don’t know about you guys but…fuck off…I’ll keep doin’ it the old school way, tossin’ iron religiously, enough cardio to rationalize my existence and a solid dietary program. The end result…I don’t need/want “SPANX” to hide my shit. [ROFL1]
I always wondered about this stuff…”what does a chic do when she SPANX, scores and the attire actually comes off?" I mean, all that “flabby, out of whack shit you’re hiding at the club comes to the surface eventually…right?”

Eh, it's for the metrosexual types. I'm a fat ass and I don't try to hide it. Though I do workout (not religiously), my stomach and love handles never seem to decrease no matter what excercises I do nor what I eat ... I'm starting to blame it on genetics, HAHAHAHA.

We've had this conversation, it is genetics, work with what ya' got and be "satisifed with that." Cuts both ways right, while you may not reach the level of ab development you want because mother-nature say's "fuck you Bear," I'll bet you can off-set the "ab boyz" with a set of quads and lat development that they could never achieve...right? Assuming you established that as a goal. Example, I will never have killer lats, bone structure, fiber density, etc., never gonna get there but...all I have to do is look at a barbell and my traps grow insanely...go figure. Work with what you got man...
Speaking of which, where is that pretty, svelte picture of SkinnyBear? It's been months since you whined about that...months... [Tooth]

You have to be religious about it.. I just lost a ton of weight and got back to what I was before I stopped caring.. It's honestly easier to lose the weight through diet, and then worry about firming up w/ the gym. I tried doing the diet and gym thing and it just didn't work. I focused on the diet and it came off like crazy.. Now my gf just stares at me like a piece of meat.. and i'm totally fine with it.. not sure why women bitch about it :)
I think a lot of it does have to do with genetics though, I think it can be beaten. I have to work at it, watch what i eat because I have a horrible metabolism... so does my mother, and brother.. my dads side of the family does not though. I got his sides hairline, and my mothers waist line..

Expensive tight t-shirts. All those models didn't need it except to show off all their hours in the gym.
I'll bet they look very different on a guy with a keg. Why don't they just sell that fake six pack Batman was wearing in those movies?

As to the Spanx, well, shit...to think I have been busting my ass trying to drop the "Colorado 20" (I did just coin that, and it has a lot to do with all the fantastic beer and food you all have around here, it was a delicious first year) and all I had to do was put on a tight shirt! The shit people will spend money on to stay on the couch. Some one should just invent couch seat belts and be done with it
