My thought is that no service is going to allow the other to take all the credit for that. Plus it is really common for JSOC personnel such as Force Recon, SEALs, Delta, and AF SOC to work together in all sorts of situations.
For instance the movie Black Hawk Down doesn't really go into detail about the AF SAR guys or SEALs that were present but they were also there during the fight.
My thought is also that an operation of that magnitude would not be successful without Special Operations and support from all branches

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I don't think I'm going to celebrate, as the taking of a life, regardless of necessity, is no cause for joy for me. I am relieved that he is no longer a threat, but I am seriously concerned that all of this celebration will only serve to martyr him, and serve as a springboard for even more egregious acts of violence from Al Q'aeda and similar extremist groups. The best course of action would have been to remove him quietly, and let his legacy be one of obscurity.
Just remember all of the Nazi war criminals that were "killed", only to turn up 30 years later in Argentina...

They have the DNA of several of his family members, they just compare it to that and they can tell if the person they killed is related to Osama's relatives.

Every time i hear about this "head shot" the shot gets more incredible. a single shot to the head is now being reported as single shot through his eye. The seals are without a doubt an elite force. in the middle of what is being reported as a fire fight, with one helicopter going down, do you enter the building with unknown enemy count and pop one round at the threat in front of you or do you send a burst at that immediate threat?
was he snipered before the helos went in and they just picked up his body? was the one head shot made while he tried to surrender (not that i care)

Every time i hear about this "head shot" the shot gets more incredible. a single shot to the head is now being reported as single shot through his eye. The seals are without a doubt an elite force. in the middle of what is being reported as a fire fight, with one helicopter going down, do you enter the building with unknown enemy count and pop one round at the threat in front of you or do you send a burst at that immediate threat?
was he snipered before the helos went in and they just picked up his body? was the one head shot made while he tried to surrender (not that i care)
I think there might be a case made that Osama pussed out in the face of the seals coming over wall in the helos and he shot himself once in the head.
either way i hope he burns in hell forever,

As far as the headshot goes, I can think of two plausible scenarios...
1. SEALs are standing around him yelling at him at gunpoint to stick his face in the dirt so they can throw some zip ties on him, he grabs an AK, SEALs shoot and one happens to be trained on his head.
2. They burst into the room, OBL stands up and takes aim with an AK, SEALs shoot bursts at him, one happens to hit him in the face and BOOM HEADSHOT.
As for DNA... I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they really could get his DNA confirmed that fast. The test itself (comparing two DNA samples using gel electrophoresis) is really fairly simple and pretty fast, takes about 10-15 min to setup everything and do it if you have everything on hand. The reason it takes FOREVER most places is they have to send it to a lab with one or two guys that know how to do it, who are sent dozens of DNA samples a day and have to just go through everything in the order it comes in.
Personally I can't wait to play it out on Call of Duty.
