Im looking to make a few changes on my Glock 19. Id like to get the 3.5lb connector, extended slide release and have the trigger parts polished to make it a bit smoother. Was also considering an extended mag release, but not sure yet.

Also, wanted to buy a punch so I could learn to fully take down and put back together my entire Glock.

Anyone know of someone in the Arvada/Denver area?

Thanks!

BP Tactical He is an Industry Partner on this board. He is located near 104th and Washington. Excellent prices and service. I wouldn't use anyone else. YMMV [Coffee]

one final tip, it helps to wiggle the slide release and or trigger when removing the big pin, sometimes it binds, muscle isnt the way, and when putting it back together the top pin goes first or it will catch the spring, tits!@

To the OP- check your PM's.

Attempting repairs/modifications on your own if you are not familiar with the function/disassembley of your firearm can be a recipe for disaster. I would be happy to have you bring her over and give you the nickel tour of your firearm.

I've done extended mag and slide release = cake
$.75 polished internals = cake

never done 3.5lb connector but i can't imagine it being hard.

learn your firearm and save a few bucks.

wow i feel advanced You may feel advanced but you sound like an ass. YouTube for gunsmithing, great idea. What could possibly go wrong?

Listen to BP Tactical, he does this for a living; and plenty of people here will tell you he's good at his job and a standup guy. Let the bread bakers bake the bread.

That's how I learned to break down all my guns. He is being ignorant of the fact that a guy is trying to get a customer here though.

This is all circumstantial based on the person and the gun. Not everyone is mechanically inclined nore familiar with firearms internals to just go rummaging around with a full disassembly. Conversely, a full disassembly of a glock is probably the easiest of all the semi-auto pistols I've dealt with.

I suspect the OPer could figure out how to disassemble and reassemble his glock from a video off of YouTube. I also think he would be better served by some one-on-one time with someone who can walk him through it like BP.

After learning full disassembly and reassembly, the polish job may not be what you consider out of your capabilities either. The connector change definitely won't be.

Thanks for the help guys. Id hate to make a fool of myself by taking it apart and not being able to put it back together or worse, causing damage. Id love to become a good customer of BP Tactical for any future work that I couldnt do myself. This will give me a chance to make a new friend and meet a new quality business as well as learn more about my firearm. Ive been itching to take it down since I got it, but would like someone who knows to show me first.

Appreciate everyones input!

Better watch the vid again, pretty sure there was a step in there but I don't think it was called "the wiggle"[Dunno]

plenty of online resources the tube is about the last place I'd recommend, to many guys wiggling things when they should be lifting and pressing

Let the bread bakers bake the bread.
I've been staring at this ridiculous line for almost a month now, and still haven't been able to put together a joke involving the Easy-Bake oven.

Anyone?
