View Full Version : handgun foregrip
I was told if I added a foregrip to a handgun it was considered an AOW.
IE:
Adding this to a Glock

I hope they're wrong. Can anyone clarify for me.

YES THEY DO! Karl.
But an AOW is only a $5 tax stamp... With all the usual hoops to jump through.
Would this not be considered manufacturing and require the $200 AOW tax stamp?

Form 1 your glock as an SBR and then you can put the vertical foregrip AND one of those cool stocks like Alan has on it.

Yes $200 to register then it would only be $5 transfer if you sold it.
Thanx all
Makes more sense to SBR the Glock.

Glock makes rifles? [poke] Ummmm, I don't think so. Karl.
No Glock makes handguns, I make rifles.........
well maybe one day
Be carefull about doing a form 1 to sbr a glock. You'll have to comply with 922 import parts count for a rifle.

Consider this route from the good old AFT.gov site:
