new toys picked up

after starting a new job and being sick right after wards life has been hectic to say the least lately. I have had a Tikka T3 Lite .308 rifle sitting at my local shop for about a month and a XD 45 sitting there for a few weeks, I finally drug myself out today and went and picked them up.
Although the XD 45 never made it out of the store, I traded it for a Sub Compact XD9 which I am actually happy with, it's a nice little pistol. I got the XD45 in a trade with a friend but I am not a .45 guy.

yall will have to wait on pics of the rifle, cant get good pics inside the house.

I'd like to own one of those too after shooting a friend's. I have a Glock 23, and I was surprised I liked the XD much better! New carry gun coming up!

Streamlight and a Streamlight rebranded by Springfield (XML I believe is what they call it) has a light that fites rather well on subcompact pistols. I'm running one on my PT145 and am rather pleased with it. Doesn't upset the weapon balance at all for me and is easily activated.

Congrats on the XD, shame you're not a 45 guy though, the XD45 has to be about the best non-1911 45 out there for the money and 13+1 of JHP's is a wonderful thing [postal]
