I ran across this while looking around on the Internet for Glock pictures. Wondering if anyone has one and if so what is your opinion. I was thinking of putting one on my G29 just not sure if I want to modify the frame of the gun.

If Glock would have wanted a manual safety on their pistol they would have designed it as such.
A hardware fix for a software problem.

Glocks come with a safety, it's called finger off trigger.
Installing a manual safety is a solution for a non existent problem.

I think you should get and then test it. Once you realize it sucks we can all make fun of you.

This is the best answer.
Wow at $90 that is too expensive, anyway.

Glocks have 3 safeties. They should all be trusted as much as an external one. A safety is a mechanical device that CAN fail. How many people have been shot with guns that had the safety "on", or "Unloaded" guns?

I'm not a Glock fanboy myself. But on modern guns, I don't believe in aftermarket gizmos that affect trigger geometry or safety behavior on guns manufactured by people other than the engineers that built it originally.
On something like a 1911, that people have been studying for a century, its different. Its well understood how they work in terms of engineering, but on the new stuff - I saw if the manufacturer does not back it don't buy it.
Ditto - Dont mess with your Glock, it comes "RIGHT" from the factory. If you feel the need for a safety then get a handgun that is manufactured with one.

Thanks for the constructive input.
Glock did sell guns with safeties to some tarded counties. If you really want track down some factory parts. Then folks wont laugh. I personally like knowing the gun only needs a trigger squeeze to go bang.

I wouldn't do this unless to a Glock ever... If mandated by my job, I'd opt for something that came factory with a safety (M&P, 1911).
My 2 cents.

They sell a push button trigger safety. Just another option.

With everyone saying don't modify the Glock in any way, I'm thinking about upgrading my trigger to the Haley Systems SKIMMER trigger (here (http://www.glocktriggers.com/products/haley/))
So no, I shouldn't. But I agree with Jim, if Glock intended the weapon to have a safety, they would have put one on there. [Coffee]
