Because my wife makes stuff like this. Asparagus wrapped in prosciutto with cream cheese and black peeper. And that's just the appetizer. For dinner it's roasted tomatoes with herbed ricotta cheese and toasted walnuts and salmon cooked in a cumin/coriander/chile crust.
Knock yourself out with meatballs from the furniture store... (She's actually bringing some home tomorrow...I'll get to try them)
No, she doesn't have a sister. Well...she does but...let's just say you're better off not knowing about her.

Negative...
She's a RN. When I'm (more) old and fat and feeble she'll be able to take care of me.

It's like magic around here. I go outside and play with chainsaws and check oil in motors and pee on the grass and do other manly shit. I come back inside and...BAM! There's food ready to eat.
I almost have a life as good as one of my dog's. Maybe better since no one ever cut my balls off.
Having had the IKEA experience (once) and eaten IKEA food, Mrs. BG's cuisine looks immensely better. [Beer]

You mean the microwave? [Coffee]

[ROFL1] I can't remember the last time I used my stove either.

No, it must be the stove cuz I know how to use the microwave.
We had something very near that just yesterday at a sushi restaurant. It was pretty good.

Or get away with the murder...
But from the looks of it, it will be tasty, tasty murder.

Yum. I make Asparagus just like that but I use garden herb cheese spread and the grill to cook.
You have it good...my wife hasn't been in the kitchen for a LONG time. But to her credit, I work at home and she works long hours in the office.

I made this as a side with dinner and it appears that I'm going to get some action pretty soon. Tell your wife 'thank you' for me! [Beer]

Ok I don't quite get this topic... First the OP offers us a square peg... doesn't need to eat at Ikea (does anyone, it is an furniture store, not a restaurant, or grocer) Then he offers us the round hole that is the cooking he has at home?
I keep trying to fit that square peg in the round hole... but honestly...
What does his Wife's cooking have to do with Ikea? Seems like a huge stretch to me.
Congrats on the good eats. Condolences on the relative logic.

Gotcha. I was a bit confused. Carry on, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
