I'm listening to my wife talking to a Sirius XM customer service person on the phone. I wish I could hear the person on the other end. The frustration in my wife's voice is...let's just say it's entertaining!

This person must really be a piece of work because the wife is having to say the same thing like 3 or 4 times. Now she's pissed at me because I can't stop laughing. I'm actually crying.

It's been 20 minutes of free entertainment. I think Sirius just a lost a customer!

every time i call them I have to tell them 10 times I don't want my acct. to auto renew to my cc and i don't want to by their 3 year prepaid bs to get 3 months free, they are the kings of trying to up sell, they are worse than used car salesmen and injury attorneys.

Thanks for the heads up on Sirius Customer Service. I am on automatic renewal and have marked on the calendar the day that I have to call them to cancel my auto renew feature because of the higher costs to subscribe. I'll be prepared for a strong sales pitch now but they will NOT win.[Bang]

if you let it cancel within a month they will send you a letter giving you 6 months for 25 bucks, i've been doing that for years.

Yeah they're not very bright.. it's pretty funny.. they're system is ALWAYS going slow as well... I am not shitting you.. I spent 4 hours trying to get a radio activated..

It was horrid.. I spoke to 5 diff people called back 4 times.. not a single one could really comprehend english or the phonetic alphabet.

It's not my money so I don't care.. but I hate them!

That's what we did when I told them that their renewal subscription was way too damn high. They then suggested the extension of 6 months or so at a super reduced price but cautioned me to make sure to cancel the auto renewal a day or two prior to it's expiration date. I'm sure they are hoping that I forget to cancel.[Tooth]
During the conversation, I told them twice to slow down and speak more clearly. A different better speaking person then handled our deal.

Get a LTE able tablet for your vehicle... No need for xm or sirius anymore. The only good thing on sat radio is their comedy channels.

Rule Number 1 of CS communication.
ALWAYS ASK for a MAINLAND CS. They have to connect you with someone back in the US, back in the US, back in the USAAAAA

"Katy" was the CS person. She was in the US. I think she was just stupid...not a foreigner.

Uh, you obviously haven't listened to channel 39.

125 Patriot talk (Wilkow, Beck, Cam&company, Mike Church, Hannity(blech))
114 FNC
115 CNN
.... BBC

Comedy, 80's, 90's.... There was Pink Floyd radio for a week, now it's Dave Matthews Band radio...

I drive 10+ hours at a time. between those channels and my thumb drive full of music I'm able to make it mostly sane. Without Sirius/XM it's hunting for obscure am channels in the middle of nowhere, only to have them fade as you get into a show. I wish it had Rush.

Wait a month and get 6 for $25. They'll annoy the shit out of you with calls and junk mail though.

My experience with them has not been all that bad from a CS standpoint. My wife's ride has the factory sat radio and we were able to get it for $84 a year. I was able to get away form the auto renew deal by requesting them to send me a statement which I paid by check.

We recently had an issue where my wife lost most of the channels and I had to work it out with customer service. They gave me a $15 credit, so I was happy with that but they definitely try to sell you shit. I thought about adding Sirius to my car but they will not give me a break on the monthly fee. Several times I have been told me the promo I have for my wife's car is a 1 per household kind of deal and they will not give me the same promo. The way I see it they are losing $84 a year due to that policy.

I noticed this recently on a trip to KS and thought it was my imagination or just my radio being weird.
In town I only listen to a few stations, only surf when on trips.

Guess I should investigate further and call Sirius if needed.

Thanks for pointing that out.
