Has there ever been riots over election results? I honestly don't know.
I'm certain there will be major riots in at least a dozen major cities if Obama loses this election. If he wins, probably just a few in the usual places.
i always wondered what the point of rioting was . he im mad at you over there so ill f*ck my own sh*t up . genius really

Supporters of President Barack Obama (http://www.examiner.com/topic/barack-obama) have continued to take to Twitter, calling for riots should Obama lose, as well as the assassination of Republican candidate Mitt Romney (http://www.examiner.com/topic/mitt-romney), throughout election day.
On Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday, host Maher made a joke (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=VvNjs0V8r3M) suggesting violence against white people who vote for Romney: “I would like to make this one plea. Black people know who you are and they will come after you.”
And, as reported by Breitbart (http://www.breitbart.com/InstaBlog/2012/11/06/Report-Obama-Attempts-to-Steal-Philly-Black-Panthers-In-Repub-Poll-Workers-out), the Black Panthers have returned to voting places in Philadelphia, wielding batons in an effort to intimidate voters. The same thing happened in 2008, but Eric Holder’s Justice Department decided not to prosecute them for their obvious efforts of voter intimidation.

I hear Bloomberg does not want the National Guard in NYC.
Bye bye, NYC.

The police are his army. He doesn't want any competition.

I wouldn't expect much rioting in my neighborhood.

What I want to say I can't.

Same here- besides the terrain, I don't think the peaceful Evergreenites up here are too inclined to riot, they don't want their Audis to be all jacked up. [Coffee]

I suspect that 99.9% of this talk about rioting if their Sun King isn't re-elected is just that; talk.
So maybe in a couple deep blue urban areas you might see some unrest akin to their team winning a championship, but that's about it.

Not too concerned, personally. But concerned enough to be rolling a little heavy today...

More voter intimidation from the Black Panthers and still no recourse? Color me surprised...
there won't be any rioting. people arent as crazed as they were in 2008. yeah theyll still vote for him but they arent as obsessed as they used to be.

Every single day. People have shrines and walls with his shit all over it. They are still very much in love with him.

This..
My neighborhood is all retired military, cops and firefighters. I'm not really thinking there will be much other than drinking here.
I am not overly concerned with rioting in my neighborhood. What I see as more probable are the O clowns rioting in major distribution areas, and messing up the delivery of merchandise to gas stations and grocery stores. Even then, I see it as a long shot, though.
I really don't expect much tonight, but give them some time for an O loss to sink in and then they may become a little more active.
First things first, lets hear the official word that this was a 1 term administration, then worry about the fall out!!
Keeping my fingers crossed......

I hope so, cut down on the democratic voter base, and something to watch on tv. Of course i was hopeing for black panthers at the polling place as well and that didnt happen.

hate to say it, but some small riots would be a small cost to pay to get rid of hussein. yeah we're all packing a little extra heavy just in case for the next few weeks.

It isn't just talk.

I'm in New Orleans until tomorrow night. I came as prepared as possible, but nothing like the home base for preparations.
I doubt seriously anything will happen either way...BUT I still feel seriously nakked walking around DC/NoVA right now.

This is the second time I've noticed that you spell Montbello in all caps. Any reason for that?

There might be riots tomorrow, but they'll be outside gun stores as everyone rushes to avoid the obamapocalypse.
