BEER, WINE for Thanksgiving Dinner ??

I actually do not drink, never have, so I will be having coffee or some form of soda, but the wife will be having some sort of wine I'm sure.

As far as wine, a Riesling is a good choice. I prefer my wine a little sweeter and not as dry.

I brought three bottles up from my stash. A 2001 Merlot, a 2003 Syrah and a 2005 Pinot Noir.

Wife wants to know why we have to drink that old stuff, don't we have any fresh wine?[facepalm]
