nope, cause it was a bad shoot... Now, if the "victim" actually killed the intruders, it'd be all over place about how the poor robbers were robbed (pun intended) of their lives by an angry gun owner.

It doesn't sell commercial time if it's not fitting into the rage of the day, plus it's not falling into the agenda.

I'm pretty sure the title is a rhetorical question... +1 for the homeowner.

there is this gem also, that probably won't make national news until the guy sues her...

I saw this one yesterday and shared it on facebook along with my thoughts... One take away: a .38 snubnose is woefully inadequate. 5 shots to the face and neck and the dude lives?!?

Not to hijack this thread, but in his book "Guns, Bullets and Gunfights", Jim Cirillo relates many stories of the inadequacy of the .38 special and explains his quest for some 'home grown', better man-stoppers that eventually led to some commercial designs that helped that caliber be more successful. It's a good read if anyone's interested... Either his or his partner experienced the same thing as this story: point-blank firing of a .38 revolver and the guy still runs away!

Yeah, I'm waiting for the lawsuit to show up in this case. Somebody's "child" now has difficulties because this lady protected her family. </cynicism>

I talked to a CNN camera man at the Little Rock Federal court house in 1999, he said they were told not to report or film UFO's. So I bet "The Powers That Be" won't report on this either. Another reason not to view CNN or subscribe to its sponsors...

Of course they wont report on this. They probably would have reported on the murder of the homeowner though if he hadn't been armed.
