I'm all for that. I'm not very familiar with the area so I'll have to follow someone else's lead. I'll probably also PM a few people my number so we can get together if need be.

take 25 - colfax east.

I like the 16th and Tremont Starbucks idea. Parking close by, about 5 blocks walk to Capital. Will be there about 11:30 w/ SIL. Redneck with the beard and ponytail.

Thanks to the power of the internet, I can find my way there. I'm just not familiar with places to meet up in the area.

I'm taking about a half dozen small American Flags to pass around for those not bringing a sign. I figure with camera in hand and flag in hand, I really won't have any additional hands for signs.

I'll see anyone who's at Starbucks at 1130 as well. Short hair, probably wearing a black motorcycle jacket.

They're loafers, so it's not that much of a faux pas.

We need to meet at one area.

I just got off of the phone with Don, the organizer about the possibility of speaking. He said it is doubtful as they have a full schedule.
He also said this thing has gone huge, much more than he ever expected.

I was chatting with a buddy who I know has had a CCW longer than me, and even was/is a member of this board, and he hasn't even heard of this. I hope more people know about this.

Anyone who has CoAR15 apparel should wear it. I will be.

My best friend had a stroke at work yesterday. I'll be taking care of a few things for him today so won't make the rally. If all works out he'll be coming home later today as at this point it appears to have been a "minor" stroke.

Have fun at the rally, be smart and fight for the cause. Thanks to all who are participating.

Looks like my wife will be dropping me off and picking me up. I will have room for a couple of more peeps especially if you're willing to sit in the back of Lexus RX350/SUV. I'm in Thornton near 120th and Holly if you're interested in getting a ride with us. I should have room for four or five depending on if my daughter decides to attend. PM me if interested in not dealing with parking.

I'm off the Triggertime to assault some paper w/ my new Aimpoint PRO so I won't be getting back to you until after 6:00pm.

I wonder if we're neighbors, i'm right off 120th and Holly! I'm in the Concord development.

We were there. I had an orange jacket, bald head and 3 kids... it was good. I was hoping for more to fill the entire lawn into the park, but it was a good turn out. I liked Dennis' story. (the guy with the accent) about when the .gov come knocking. I could take a guess about where he is from but wouldn't want to offend him. It was great to hear Chris Holbert too.

Only people I found was LimitedGM and a few I know from IPSC/USPSA (Yay IPSC Gal!).

while walking through the crowd looking for Chunky Monkey (who wasn't even there yet!) I accidentally jammed my piece into this guy's stomach. Don't lead with your hip through a crowd I guess.

As I was leaving, someone drove by with about an 8 foot stick out the passenger side. Fortunately the driver stayed in the middle lane so no one got hit.

Reuters: Rallies assail Obama's proposed gun curbs (http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/01/19/us-usa-guns-rallies-idUSBRE90H17A20130119)

Across the country at a rally in Denver, the mood was defiant as about 500 people, including families with children, gathered in unseasonably warm weather outside the state capitol.

"I have earned the right to have my guns," said Don Dobyns, an Air Force veteran and former police officer from Colorado Springs, who was among the rally organizers.

Sporting a shirt that read, "Girls with guns," 31-year-old Jennifer Burk said: "My parents didn't raise a victim and the government shouldn't try and make me one."

Yeah, watching my daughter-in-law shooting the .44 mag with full-house loads was worth it! They had a great time, just wish we'd had more time and one of the 100yd. ranges. I really wanted them to run the AR15 and the M1 Garand.

The little boy with the flag? That was one of my favorites too. That was the best part of this whole rally... seeing all of the families out there. The children, the dogs, moms & dads. It shows what's really important. We had doctors, lawyers, military vets, teachers, and everyone in between. It was a great and diverse crowd!
