It's actually going pretty well. LaPierre and others are saying we need to enforce the laws on the books.

I love how this guy is saying that its Biden's OPINION that he'd be better off with a 12ga shotgun, than an AR15 for self defense. This guy is saying that he would feel better having access to an AR15 for self-defense than a 12ga shotgun. Who is this guy? Haven't seen a ticker yet... Ah, its Mr. Graham. Who the heck is he?! Apparently he's a senator.
Sen Lindsay Graham from South Carolina

I have to say, there are really a lot of excellent points being brought up.
What I love is that they point out that a Remington 870, the basic go-to shotgun for anyone, would be banned by Feinstein's bill because it can come from the factory with a 7rd mag tube (though I thought it was a 6 in the tube, + 1 in chamber, which isn't technically a mag tube with a capacity of 7rds).
Though its quite ridiculous how they have to make it so obvious about "by definition, criminals do not follow the laws" showing how gun control will not reduce gun violence.
Oh freaking come on! We have to remember what this is about, girl scout troops losing members, because its all about the kids. How many adults are shot yearly? How many adults are members of clubs/groups that are shot and killed.
Really? 40% of gun sales take place at gun shows?
Using the internet to buy guns, absolutely ridiculous because they don't bring up that it has to be shipped to an FFL only, which by law requires a background check. Oh thank God, these panel members are very well prepared and correcting the misunderstandings about internet sales.
"And we're simply trying to close these loopholes". Really? Then why are you bringing up magazine capacities and criminals circumventing laws.

Bullet buttons are dangerous?! Hmm, I didn't realize that...
What the heck is the "Sandy Hook Promise"? LaPierre did a great job of avoiding the question as to whether the NRA and all of its constituents would agree to the Sandy Hook Promise.
Senator Blumenthal: "You agree that we should prosecute illegal guns more, right?"
Wayne LaPierre: "You know, I've been on the Hill 20 years, and everyone says it, but no one actually does it."

Background checks for ammo. Oh goodie.
That Police Chief James Johnson is a piece of work, his spewing of complete and utter bullshit was overwhelming. It's obvious he has a politacal agenda to further his carrer, he’s a fucking disgrace to the uniform.

What happened?! I had to log off, get some food and bike across campus... Finally back on a computer again.
I just had to look up what a bullet button was, since its so ruthless and deadly. Allowing to change a fixed magazine into an unfixed one is a good idea in case you move out of CA or NY. I hate ignorant people whatever their stance is.

A San Francisco newspaper ran an article on them about a year ago, which led to a state senator attempting to pass a law that would make those illegal. Fortunately, thanks to lobbying by individuals and groups like CalGuns, it didn't pass.

But it looks like he is trying to bring it back.
