Two questions come to mind.
1. How many passed under the appeals process
2. How do they even know it was a private sale
I will sleep better tonight knowing I am safer because of these wonderful laws pushed through by people that know what is best for me.
Only 10 denials? That seems really low to me. That's a really low percentage of failures.
We all know there were probably just as many guns changing hands among criminals who simply ignore the laws as they have always done.
I for one sleep much better knowing Colorado's children are safe. If only the other reckless states of this country would follow suit!
BFD, I've seen at least 10 denials in a weekend at a gunshow, double that at an Aurora show.
At that average that means 120 per year.
