Maybe its for the better Colt sold out gun owners many years ago and recently said they would no longer sell ar-15's to civilians. They wonder why the went bankrupt?
CZ owns Dan Wesson and they turn out some great 1911s.
I like everything I’ve ever touched from CZ... can’t say that about many manufacturers anymore.
There's no doubt Colt has made some poor business decisions in the past and has largely survived on their name for many years. But their decision to sell AR rifles to civilians wasn't for political reasons. Their announcement basically stated their ability to produce rifles was pretty much taken up in military and other government contracts. That, and the number of other manufacturers producing guns in the AR marketplace made it difficult for them to be competitive.Quote:

I like CZ, but it's weird that another very iconic, very American company is owned by another country.
MrPrena is Correct... Daughter works For CZ.. They are Not Serbs like Us but close enough. Good Products and Great Company to work In.
