That is just crazy. To bad for Denver.
Can someone please explain the rationale behind this? I'm genuinely curious.
As far as that goes, I think this illustrates the desperate need for drastic reform and objective standards (vs the unaccountable rulings based on the whim of a board.) I don't think its unreasonable for an inappropriate use of force to result in permanent termination.
That's just delusional. There has to be a huge hiring pool that DPD could dip into to fill those positions and retain some sense of professionalism.Quote:

Instead of patrol duties, they are running a desk. No driving around, no seeing people on the streets. Fine with me! ( After a few years, they will quit.)
