Never had something shipped out, wording on the CS email confused me a little. Can longarms when it's been sent for repairs, be returned directly to your door? Or needs to go through FFL like any out of state purchase?

nope repairs and replacement can be sent right back to you

What he said, the manufacturer may send an affidavit for you to sign and fax to them stating you are the owner(only had it happen with Century) but generally a fairly painless process. If it is a handgun it must be overnighted.
