Unfortunately I think they'll just get a slap on the pee pee as a conciliatory gesture from the new administration. Which is a shame because it will embolden like minded insurrectionists to do something even more outrageous next time.

if and when rounds start coming back at you. The tune changes, real fast. A good portion, on any side, talking civil war etc. Have either 1: never been shot. or 2: been on the wrong end of a live fire range.

Went back to read through the 12 pages. I don't post here much but wanted to see what the pulse was like. I'm surprised. You folks actually think that a ballot box is going to change the course of our government? Insurrection (against authority/government) is always wrong in your mind?

Does not exist anymore. The ballot is just something for you to fill out to make you feel good. Once it is “Scanned” it is useless.

This is a disaster on many levels. This can be dissected into dozens of threads.

There were breakdowns in leadership, intelligence, foresight, enforcement, protection, and professionalism from various agencies.

It's surprising more people weren't injured or killed.

That's all you've taken away from over 100 comments in this thread? You've just decided "you folks"...which basically infers everyone here...have it narrowed down to those two beliefs? That's some pretty fuckin' amazing insight you have there. I can see why you don't post much.

I'm gonna bet against you on this prediction. Those people are going to jail. The FBI already as pictures of dozens of them on the street asking for help identifying them. Charges for one individual have already been announced. The new admin won't hold back on them or anyone like them. Examples will be made.

Hell, even Trump's merchandise websites were killed today. Stories of people who were there being fired by their jobs are hitting the news stands too. All things associated with Trump will be cancelled, including the people who were there.

Under normal circumstances I'd agree with the position that the "storming of the capital" was wrong. These are not normal circumstances. Blatantly illegal things are being given a pass, the media is completely unfair, nobody in the swamp truly cares to do anything about it, the list goes on and on. I think there's going to have to be some sort of large jolt to the system to bring it back in line. What form that takes, don't know, but I am doubting it'll be pleasant.
