I was going to buy a gopro to film some shooting stuff but ended up with this instead:

Then my computer started having heat issues with my CPU randomly so I got this:

The water cooler doesn't fit in my case so I ordered this yesterday:

Since the case has a giant window, I decided to get a new modular PSU with it so it doesn't look like Predator's hair inside:

Got tired of effing around with cheap ass thermometers for smoking and BBQ'ing.... Buy once, cry once.
asmo, do you have a link to where you bought that from? I am sick of replacing the probes on the unit I have now.
Another awesome example from www.ColoradoHolster.com

Get the "MeatHead" Kit.. This is full on competition/professional grade no nonsense scientific stuff.
Picked up this holster from Ark, was eyeballing them last time I was in the store. Must say, I forgot how comfy the hybrid style holsters are with larger pistols. They don't offer the quick on/off capability that I like, but damn they are comfortable.

Fathers day gift, oh yeah.
I'm not a "father", so no gifts for me...oh, wait! Looks like I'm the gifted one!
New carry gat! Pre-MIM, pre lock, still roll marked (not lasered) 642 no dash. Finish is much closer looking to stainless steel than the modern ones. Overall its pretty nice I guess for a no frills carry gat

I do love comparing the sideplate gap on the new ones to the oldest J frame though:

The final parts came today while I was in class.
Just got done putting them on.

For those of you that don't know, I got my private pilots license a bit ago. This weekend I flew down to Texas in my buddies Cessna with him and my CFI to look at a plane. Ended up flying both of them back.
Its an older, but well maintained 1966 Beechcraft Super Musketeer III. Got a killer deal on it. Full service records all the way back to 1966 when it was new. It needs some cleaning, and the paint is chipped, cracked or faded in many parts, but it is fully safe and airworthy and is great to fly.
I'll be cleaning is up inside and out, refinishing the dash, panel back plate, flap lever and some support braces that have a bit of tarnish. I will decide if this is my long term bird, or just a stepping stone to trade-in on something with more power, nicer avionics and more capable of mountain flying down the road. This one will do mountains, but will need a pretty perfect day to do it safely. If I decide to keep this one long term (more than 5 years) I'll probably invest in getting it re-painted, and some upgrades on GPS and avionics, as they are all pretty old (but still work).

Bad. Ass, J!! Congrats!
Congrats J! Are you keeping it at BJC?
Its at KEIK (Erie) right now. The buddy with the Cessna was nice enough to let me share his Hangar while I find a permanent place to store it. It isn't easy, you have to be on a long waitlist, or really pound the ground looking for people about to sell a plane but wanting to lease or sub their owned hangar, or sublease their leased hangar if you want something sooner.
I'm really hoping to find someone at KEIK that lives in the airpark with a hangar on their house willing to trade flight time for hangar space. Or similar deal for someone that owns a hangar at KBJC.
