A little down on the page.

My BIL in Kansas hunts everything with his Grendel. Makes long shots all the time on whitetail with no problem.

I have a 24" BHW barrel, and the BHW Type1 Grendel bolt on mine... their barrels shoot lights out. Don't know how much truth there is to it, but the specific grendel bolt is supposed to stand up to higher pressure than the standard 7.62 bolt. Rumor only, take it for what it is worth.

A side note... I did have to really scrub the chamber, open up the gas port a little (1/32nd) and break it in with 100 rounds before it cycled perfectly for me. I had to pogo the shot rounds out of the rifle for the first 10 rounds. The chambers are TIGHT! And even a little residual machine grease in the chamber sticks the shot brass GOOD.

I have heard that too. All from the same manufacturer. What I don't understand is how can a bolt in which you cut or remove more material be stronger?
