My Magpul info was to support my claim that Sig716P is an SR25/LR-308 pattern mag not AR-10.

No I did not. I came across it while researching my build earlier this year. I spent a fair amount of time lurking on 308ar.com and several other sites trying to wrap my head around the process.
If memory serves, that sheet was linked either on 308ar or "the site which shall not be named".
I think its also important to recognize that some manufacturers will also modify parts from year to year like car makers so that a 2014 part may not work on a 2015 model even though its the same manufacturer.
Barrel nuts are different as well.
My POF lower works with both factory forged DPMS and AP Billet uppers. I did buy the Hogan shim kit for the upper receiver bc POF & Hogan use smaller take down pins, so these take up the slack, but it's too tight to run the rear take down pin on the AP upper, so I used an accuwdge. Btw I get solid/repeatable accuracy out of a 18" barrel.
AP lowers will work fine with a dpms forged upper but there is a notice gap
POF and AP Billet upper = tight... Maybe too tight but it's more of a long range build than a SHTF AR10
also I am going to be re barreling it for 6.5 creedmoore, I'll let you all know if reliability changes
I went the aeroprecision route, a DPMS pattern, and I am quite happy with the result. Except in the early beginning, when i was sent an early prod upper with a hand guard that didn't fit and an out of spec barrel, they seems to now have their act together and they did replace all the parts with excellent quality replacement.
I did order a kak BCG and it's been running flawlessly. One of my 2 upper is equipped with a 18' DPMS SASS barrel, and it's been reliable and allowed me tights grouping up to 300 yards (the max I ever shot with this rifle). The second upper is all AP and makes a great battle rifle.
