Just over a year ago I was paying $12.95 for the 550 brick of Federal bulk .22LR. Raising the price by $6 is rediculous - BUT, if the market will bear it, who am I to stand in the way of free enterprise?

Showing your age there old man...
By the way, I'm doing a report... what color were the dinosaurs?!
HAHAHAHA.
That was mean. Calling me old. I thought we were friends. - At least, that's what you told the attendant at the Home the last time you came to visit me. By the way, I need more milk and saltines.
M%^(*$ - D@mned kids!
I wish I could buy from a local shop. Unfortunately, even with this latest price hike, walmart is still the cheapest for HV copper-washed ammo. Unless someone knows something I don't? Of course, if wally world pushes up any higher, some of my favorite on-line retailers will become 'competitive'. Then I guess I can just skip walmart all together and just shop online. I hate going to walmart...
very true...I stopped buying it in hopes the prices would fall off again, but seeing that every time i am at walmart they don't have it in stock, or very very little, the prices aren't going to be falling for a while. I am just glad i have a large enough supply to last me for quite some time
Except for the bubble a year ago ammo and supplies have done nothing but gone up in the last 10 years. I thought it was kind of expensive when I bought bricks for $12.
I need to get back to buying more components.
True, but reloading .22LR just isn't lucrative.
Good thing I laid in a supply awhile back.....
