The requirements are the same for the most part. If you got weight or physical ability issues, then they probably will pass. We've been kicking people out of the Guard for overweight issues and not passing their annual physical fitness testing. I'm not a recuiter, so I don't know specifically. You would have to speak to a Guard recruiter for specific information.
What I was referring to with Stuart is, the Guard has a program in which a Guard member recommends or "recruits" a person into the Guard. Once the "recruitee" passes their basic and advanced training, the "recruiter" would earn $2,000. It's called the GRAP program.

Detroit has a lot of Arabs, not just Iraqis; I think Lebanese are actually the predominant group? Also a lot of non-Arabs from "Arab" countries like Syria and Iraq such as Assyrians and Kurds. Not sure why, originally... Later, the existing Arab population became an attraction for further immigrants.

I don't see how their being in the National Guard had anything to do with the crime. Would it be mentioned if they both shopped at the same supermarket?
