Exactly...I guess that's the bottom line.

I don't text, I don't Facebook, I don't...... well, telephone + email. That's it.
Yeah, I don't like talking on the phone, so I text 90% of the time. With that said, when doing business, unless the buyer/seller specifies that they want to communicate via text, I take the time to dial the number and speak with the individual.
I txt quite a bit for little things in day to day life but with firearms deals I usually pick up the phone and talk much easier to gauge interest.

My phone does one thing, makes phone calls. I have contacted ATT and had them completely disable text or web on my phone. While the tech nerd in me wants a smart phone, I do not want text or any of the other crap that goes with it. Call me. We can talk.
It's not just texting, I've gotten emails or PM's with about the same message.
I've noticed that a LOT of younger people do not like speaking on the phone. I have a friend, that when we are driving together, and I am driving, will still ask me to call one of our friends. Not a stranger, or someone only I know, but a mutual stranger. I've told him, "I'm driving idiot, you call them!"
Personally, I have to call strangers constantly, and not happy ones, for my job, so talking on the phone is not a big deal to me. I generally do not text people I haven't met until they bring it up or text me first.
