I am sure our dachshunds are all about the rabbits/squirrels and cats. Even the oldest one (17) that is blind still barks and has the paws going 90 to nothing when he sleeps. And skunks. I forgot about skunks. Being sprayed does not faze them, still a dead skunk. :)

I would say same with mine, but rabbits don't come round our parts anymore... I'd say chasing elk, because our dog loves to run up and down the fence line when the elk are out... yeah, he's fearless.Quote:

I love that video! When I had my boxer / wolf mix she was dreaming of the 6 x 6 bull Elk she was chasing a few years back up here. She went head to head with it sorta of. Damnedest thing I ever saw. No fear in that dog.
my little dog is definitely chasing rabbits, catching them and then tearing them apart! The big dog, depending on the time of year is either hunting pheasants, pointing, fetching etc, or he is going after rabbits!
