if you want it to wear out much faster then run it dry. but don't use oil on ak's they run great with grease
I don't care - OP's the one whining about lube jizzing out the back, so my answers were for his sensibilities. I run my AKs dry and put them away dirty.Quote:

No semi-auto is made to run dry. Most will do it but it's not good for them.
Car engines are not made to run dry either but all will do it............for a while.
