Ah lucky you! I have stayed in a hotel/motel only once in all my years going and that was clear down in Custer state park. Amazing how much they jack up the prices during the rally! I usually always stay at the Roubaix lake campground. It's south of Deadwood on 385 and a little just past nemo rd. There is a tiny gas station/mini store on the east side of the road right at the entrance to the campground. Nice and quiet at night much cooler than down in town and you have the lake to swim in to cool off. Also showers and ice at the mini gas station.Quote:
