I should be, unless work holds me up (but that's one of the weekends where work slows down on Friday, so should be free then).

Eggysrun, let me know if I'm stepping on toes because I certianly don't want to but are you available Friday the 9th at 6:00?

    So far I have:

    1) Jer +1
    2) RblDiver
    3) blacklabel

Who else? If Eggysrun is set on Saturday at 3:00 I can bow out of this and let him organize and I'll just try for next time because I don't want to steam roll him since this was his idea.

Ah lucky you! I have stayed in a hotel/motel only once in all my years going and that was clear down in Custer state park. Amazing how much they jack up the prices during the rally! I usually always stay at the Roubaix lake campground. It's south of Deadwood on 385 and a little just past nemo rd. There is a tiny gas station/mini store on the east side of the road right at the entrance to the campground. Nice and quiet at night much cooler than down in town and you have the lake to swim in to cool off. Also showers and ice at the mini gas station.

Not Days Inn. Days End campground, right off the Lazelle exit.
We have friends that stay at that same campground you're at, but momma doesn't want to shower at the gas station all week. DE is a very convenient location, and we've been staying there for years. Old habits, and all that.

Well I sure read that wrong ha ha still waking up late night last night! Can understand women and the public showers thing. I usually just take a bath in the lake though I do get strange look from others now and then when the soap bubbles take over little swim area they have there!

Especially mystical since the showers at the station are likely similar to the ones at DE.
