No shit. This thread isn't anything like all the other intellectually stimulating conversations that require deep, critical thinking in the GD forum.

I am just happy that this thread is beating the duplicate thread in the total number of posts :)
Well, let me get up in this so I don't just have posts in the "losing" thread. [ROFL2]
I know of a Soldier that played the "family care plan....nope no family care plan" game to get out of deploying. Then the chapter process started. The Soldier got ready to deploy very quickly.
Woman behind military breast-feeding photo fired from job
Years ago when I was in a "support group for breast-feeding" would have been "a gaggle of privates snockered on stale 3.2 beer sittin' around tellin' tall-tales about their exploits suckin' on a nice, big pair of titties and contemplating more of that."Quote:
"The Washington state woman who orchestrated controversial photos of military moms breast-feeding their kids in uniform was fired from her civilian job as an X-ray technician and the women in the picture have been reprimanded, she said."...
Scott has served in the military and now lives on the Fairchild Air Force Base...She is the spokesperson for...a support group for breast-feeding on the military base.
I liked the "old Army" better.
This thread needs more bewbies!!!!!!!![Tooth][Weight]
Hey Byte I see you live near Glock. Go by and ask them, WTF?
This caused a crazy thread/stir at AF times. Turns out they are guard (or reserves, whats the difference ;)
I was lucky. No guard in the OSI, only reserves and they were almost all from other LE or counterintel agencies. Not all AFSCs/MOSs had it that good.
Knew a few Guard guys I really wanted in the OSI though.
This is why the AF has a bad rep for being weak. This is just weird.
Guard has its share of....fill in the blank. Also has its share of folks who can get things done the way they need to be.
Guard folks seem to get lumped together and painted with the same brush as a lot of military contractors...till they're needed. They didn't make the system, they just fill a place in it. I get crap about being a contractor now, too. Once again, I didn't make the system, just filling a spot in it. And I still deploy, contractor or not; and more than I did when I was in. Hell, I'm deployed now. Part of my job is being a flying Crew Chief, so we go with the plane(s).
