Just sat and watched a whole mess of stuff that has been uncovered...
According to 7News:
-His aunt said that he went to his mother "confessing something terrible relating to this case."
-Unclear as to whether he or his mother called WPD, but someone did late last night and officers arrested him.
-His vehicle was towed and is being processed for evidence.
-His house is being searched with a fine tooth comb by CBI, WPD, JCSO, and FBI.
-He took classes at WarrenTech relating to crime scene investigation, medical forensics, evidence processing, behavior science, and criminal psychology.
-He will be formally charged tomorrow morning at 8AM at the Jefferson County Court House... Charges include kidnapping, murder, attempted kidnapping.
-[my own addition- if he's guilty] Hell is already reserving a special place for this suck fvck...
They've already screwed up, since when has the custody report of a minor been published by the media?

Screw that, this blows me away why people have given up their rights. I am all for finding the killer, but I am not going to let my house be searched or my DNA be ran without just cause.
These people think they're DNA records will now just be tossed because they found the killer, yea right.
Again, why did she let them search her house?
Sick SOB.
Congratulation and prayer's for his mom for doing the right thing, that took integrity. (Prayers for the Victim and family too, of course). Too bad Klebold and Harris' parents did not do the right thing and instead stuck their heads in the sand: fail at parenting.
Also proves that the image of the child predator cruising the streets in their horror wagon is generally a myth, and usually the victim knows the perp.
I wish we had a governor or some official that says the hell with the supreme court, this guy should never walk the streets free again, because he will always be a danger, and he must and will be executed.
Right? It blew me away as well, but he said he was pretty rattled by them just showing up and saying it was in relation to this case.
They sold him on the DNA sample by saying they won't keep the DNA for long and that it would be inadmissible in other cases. He bought it.
Unfortunately, the whole "Stranger Danger" stuff is not merely wrong but misguided.
Its rarer for children to be victimized by strangers than by people they know or are even related to. It could almost be said that a child in danger would be better off contacting a stranger for help.
This case will unfortunately only reinforce the misguided fears of parents.
Even if they have to release him, I'm sure justice will find him.[Muaha]
I'm kind of sad it was a kid... I think my place in the world woud still allow me the conscience to administer vigilante justice, but I'd hesitate for about .5 sec longer than if he was just some ol' perv...
My wife just said remains were found in his home as well... I think they got him.
We should all send him a box of teabags and a bag of tossed salad.
Fox31 news sources said but not confirmed by the Westminster PD. Either way they wouldn't arrest him without good strong reason or evidence. Listening to the Westminster PD and how they acted with naming the body I think they are pretty positive they got the right guy.
What a sick son of a bitch
And I hope this doesn't sound sick or twisted, but I really want to know what is going on with this kid? What is compelling him to be so horrible? Can it even be explained? And hopefully he will fill in all the blanks on the case.
I'm with Tfog.
I have a friend in the Westminster police dept. There are details that make the horrible situation even more upsetting and disturbing. This fucker does not deserve to remain on this earth. There is no rehabilitation for a person like this. Incarceration is a waste of time and money. Best to just eliminate him from the population.
My first thought was that the killer was a young kid `17-24 that lived in the subdivision and did it as a thrill killing. It looks like he has a history of disturbing behavior.
Read a article by Fox news that said he asperations of becoming a mortician, to bad the little bastard can only get life in prison instead of the death penalty.
I'm just glad they found somebody. Hopefully this is him, time will tell. if it is, no sympathy, no holding back. After he receives his constitutional rights/trial etc...and he is found guilty, then he needs to be buried.
Hell has a special place for this POS
Sick Fuck... I truly hope that somehow there will be a lapse in security during his life stay in solitary that another inmate does what should be done...
X2 There is obviously some issues in his past...
EDIT: Just read an article on CBS 4 talking about Sigg's parents. Dad sounds like a real POS with multiple DV, DUI, assault, drug dealing, mortgage fraud, etc. convictions. Mother filed for bankruptcy in May... Not making excuses for the POS, he deserves every bit of what he has coming, but cases like this show how broken the system is when it comes to children in abusive situations being left to rot. I fully expect to find out CPS had been involved many times with this family and nothing was done.
so.....last night my daughter sends the wife a text telling us that she knows him and her and another girl who I also consider a daughter have gone to get a coke after school, and hung out in the parking lot and talked with him. They said they thought he was okay. needless to say we had a talk about trusting people right off the bat, and being more watchful, I am just so thankful that she never went anywhere alone with him.
Looks like they located some body parts in his house with the search warrant. I just found that out today. My biggest concern is that his mother knew he had tried to kidnap that woman back in the spring but figured she could "help him get over this phase". I hate thinking that she could have prevented Ridgeway altogether had she faced the reality that her kid is fucked up.
my guess is the mother is in on it or even responsible ,time will tell
The motorcycle rally last Sunday may have had something to do with this. It was HUGE. Gigantic. People were watching and cheering on 100th, wads, all over the place. It went right past Oak street on 100th. The mother and him had to have seen all this going on. I feel may have caused such pressure and guilt that he and the mother had to come clean on this.
Getting charged with 40 years, because he's a minor. Hopefully the boys in the prisons will take of him way before that.
Consecutive sentences will have him die in prison. Period!

Quote:
Sigg, an Arapahoe Community College student, faces up to 40 years in prison. Storey has said the evidence against the teen, who law enforcement sources say confessed and has been tied to the case through DNA, is overwhelming.

Give the POS a fair trial followed by a swift execution.
Between this story and the 15- and 17-year-old boys that killed that 12-year-old girl for her bicycle parts, it really makes you wonder what's going on with kids and parents in this generation. There have always been psychopaths through the years but it just seems like we have proportionately more of them these days.
I do believe that parents are less hands-on (generally speaking) than they used to be, for the most part. Kids are more and more desensitized to things too (no, not just because of video games or movies), and more prone to uncivilized behavior (see: The democratic youth today). But perhaps it appears that there are more psychos now because of our more connected world? I remember someone telling me that "there aren't more earthquakes now than 200 years ago, it's just we hear about more now because of the fact that the world is smaller." FWIW, that's just my thoughts on it...
