Wow....so much for contacting the manufacturer. The lady might as well have said, "We won't do that, eat me".
*blank stare*….. dang it.

That would be the Buyers Products Company, if anyone was interested.
The countdown is running down and in the next 30 minutes I will be on vacation for 10 days. Man, I am telling you, I need it! Not going anywhere but plenty to keep me busy all week long. Might go to the PE Shows Gun Show in Loveland, I haven't been to one for quite awhile, cheaper than a movie.
10 days ! Nice.
I can't believe this hasn't been posted.

Hey, what does 4th rifle elk hunting in the Rocky mountains have in common with living on the beach in Florida?
Fucking nothing.
Boo nothing
That fox song is so great.
Hunt pictures.
Camp

Chains, I was the only one, but I was a lot more sure footed than the other guys. Also, it prevented me from going into town.

It was either a mostly dry South facing slope, or 6" of snow and everything frozen.

Camp fire looks nice, but it was so difficult to keep going it was almost more hassle than it was worth.

I had an inflatable pad (that I got from here), and a Thermarest Z-lite pad. I slept in a Golight 3-season down bag (blue) and then a Nebo 0 degree bag (brown) draped on top. That Nebo bag is so large that it takes up the entire back seat of my Amigo.

Everywhere I went was full of moose tracks and fresh moose crap.

This rifle is heavy and the scope is too big. I couldn't figure out how to take the bi-pod off either.

All fox pictures in chronological order. Reference the camp picture to see that I was standing between the tents, and he came right up to me.

I saw another bull moose today. That black thing is his butt. He was pretty young, his rack was smaller than the mule deer I have mounted in my house.

This is where he was bedded down while I was a few feet above him glassing the hill side.

The end. I came home early. Didn't even see an elk. Only even saw elk sign today, but it was all old. I was running out of food and heat and couldn't do any more tent camping. I came ill prepared.
I like that rifle.
Nice pics, Irving.
Btw,...how is it that you are able to post them? Meaning the method in which you are doing so.
It's a Savage Axis with a Boyd's stock. Basically this, but in .308. https://www.ar-15.co/threads/121053-...ht=Savage+Axis
I feel like the scope rail is too high for prone, but fine for sitting or standing.
Just saw this. I've been meaning to talk to you about your picture issue. You can get a google Gmail account for free. With Gmail comes all kinds of things like photos and google drive. I have my phone set up where every picture I take just goes to Google Photos (when I'm on Wifi), so I can open photos from a laptop and post photos here. For some reason I can't post photos from my phone though, even though it is the same app. But for a free web hosting site, it's pretty simple and easy.
Chick N. here is another picture of that rifle that my wife took the other day.

Interesting, I currently send my pics to my gmail account from my phone, and then post them from that account using my laptop already. Seemingly, it's the board data limit that won't allow it to upload. I even ran my phone pic quality to the bare minimum for data which produced actual shitty images that would post, but weren't worth posting due to horrible quality. There must be some setting that I'm not aware of that keeps higher resolution and zoom capability from loading here.
You should name it Pistachio.

Curt had a suitable "universal" hitch which I ordered. It has an actual drop of eleven and a half inches from the bottom of the frame. Welding required, but a decent price. #15902 if anyone is following this build and might find it helpful for your future use.
Perhaps someday Buyers will open their collective minds and make their commercial class V hitches more versatile for "A dude who wants cool shit for his pick-up truck".
Ahh okay. What you're doing is trying to upload the image to the site and use the site as the storage vessel. That's why it won't let you based on storage capacity. What I'm doing is linking the photo address directly from Google. It's a little tedious, but here is a walk through of what I do from a laptop/desktop. From Google photos, click on the photo you want so it goes full screen. In the upper right hand corner is the Share icon (Three dots connected by two lines, looks like a sideways triangle), click this. Clicking the share icon brings a little pop-up window. At the bottom of the pop-up window is a button that says "Create link" and it looks like a chain link. When you click on this link it makes another pop-up with a blue link. Don't push the copy button, instead click on the link, and it will open a new tab with the same image. Click on the image to make it full screen. Now right click your image and select "copy image address." Now come back here and do your image tags (img) (/img) But with square parenthesis, and paste that link. Your picture should show up.
At first it seems tedious, but after a few times it goes pretty quickly. Hope that is helpful.
Oh yeah, when you host pictures directly on the site, they stay there forever. With hosting from Google, if you delete the photo from your gallery, then the picture doesn't show up online anymore.
Thank you, Sir.
I will try that... :)
