[Peep]..
Yesterday I drove from Aurora to Lakewood and took Colfax the whole way. Here is an auto accident that was just sitting in an intersection with no sign of the drivers. I think it must have happened during the protests.

Is that footage from dash cam? or Phone?
Just a cell phone picture I took. I took the dash cam out of my old van and haven't installed it into any of my new vehicles.
I was just asking, because the resolution was phenomenal.
Neighbor got a new swamp cooler. Of course he had to get the biggest one they sold. He's 450-500 lbs, and the other guy is getting old. They were talking about taking the thing apart to get it up on the roof, and how it took 4 guys at Lowes just to load it, and four of the neighbors across the street to get it out of the truck and into the driveway. I told them I had an idea and made them guide it up while I pulled from the roof. Saved a lot of time, but I was out of breath for what felt like 5 whole minutes. Glad I did all those push-ups and pull-ups last month! :p I told them that I'll do all kinds of stuff, but am slowly building a list of things I don't ever want to do again.

That sounds like fun. [Eek3]
Did you check their policy first to make sure it covered accidentally squishing the guys guiding it up? [Coffee]
Just a razz, thanks for helping a neighbor.
Finally going to try out my 7.62 can tomorrow. I don't have the time to spend all day shooting, but I'm excited to at least get some rounds through it. Going to shoot it on a 16" .223 and a 10.5" .300 blk. Can't wait! I don't have any subs for the .300 on hand, going to swing by Sportsmans on the way and just brace for disappointment.

Hmmm, that message contained no secrets. Let me know if something isn't right before I go out tomorrow.
ETA: Oh, I get it now. Unintentional, I swear.
It tightens itself, BUUUUT, I also have no experience with cans, OR muzzle devices, so I'm a bit nervous about the timing and tightness of the mounts.
Trust, but verify, right? ;-)
I only shot .223. Sportsman's has zero ammo. Oh well. We got distracted by rattlesnakes anyway.
Got this big grinder to match my big soldering iron.

Did you chop em or shoot em?
Pics too small on cell.
My daughter shot them all. Neither one of us could really figure out the hold at close range. I took 10 shots at a snake from 3 feet away with that rifle we were playing with and missed all 10.
Couldn't figure out where it was hitting, even when I thought that I could. She liked using the Ruger Mark IV best. I was really trying not to torture snakes, so I ended up holding them down with a stick so she could just put them out of their misery.
Besides .22lr, this was about all I shot today.

Sounds really quiet in vid.
I need to load up a bunch of ammo and go and spend a day shooting it. Especially .300 blk subs. It sounds like a normal .22 in the video.
"On another note, I've never seen Pawnee looking as green as it does right now. It's beautiful up there, currently."
We are still green here but getting dry. Only takes 2 days for lawn to look stressed. We didn't get much rain this spring, little snow early but very little rain.
Really could use couple inches of rain, hay crop has fallen a little behind just last couple weeks.
Did you get that rain storm that rolled through today around noon? I drove through it on my way up.
Just a few sprinkles.
We've eaten them before, but I cooked them all messed up. Someone who knows what they are doing and rattlesnake is fine.
My guess is it taste similar to eel.
I don't think I've had eel. I'd say chicken though.
tastes a lot like gator
Rattle snake is good, similar to alligator but still unique.
Back in good old days the carpenter who ran our window shop was a rattlesnake hunter. He and his wife hunted the snakes, harvested the skins and rattles for sale as souvenirs. They also contracted with city animal control, BLM, DOW(fuk CPW, back in the day, DOW was only decent gov agency in the state, now they all suck even worse).
They always brought rattle snake to company picnics and functions. The stories they told about hunting the snakes by hand were great. At one summer picnic on Black mtn they caught a rattle snake that had wandered into the campgrounds we were using. It was added to the grill with the other meat they had brought and the burgers and dogs.
Hate snakes
Not a fan of snakes but will usually leave them alone.
Poisonous snakes in people areas get kilt. Non-Poisonous get relocated.
New rule enacted recently by Mrs bo, any snake she sees gits kilt.
Of course she makes me kilt it.
I was hiking to a pretty high lake to fish with some buddies and a snake was in the trail and started to slither away. My friend says "grab it!" I looked at him like he was crazy, which he kind of is. Turned out to be a garter snake. I was surprised to see snake that high thou. Over 8k feet in the Flat Tops. First time.
