Hollow out a section of the wall. Insert an AR500 steel plate. Fill the void with sand and cover with sheet rock followed with a sheet of ballistic rubber. Attach your target over that and you will have an indoor range for rimfire ammunition. Put a poster or calendar over the area when you aren't shooting and no one will be the wiser.
Obviously you could get fancy and leave access panels above and below your target area where you could dump, sift and replace the sand for lead recovery.
I think if you made the sand void 8" to 10" deep you could shoot most centerfire ammunition without much impact on your steel plate. Build an access panel on the exterior wall and you could periodically change your steel plate.
Ventilation and lighting seem to be the biggest problems with indoor shooting.
Exhaust fan behind you, one venting outside, from the side's of target impact.
I fixed a broken gun.
My LMT MWS decided to implode, throwing the buffer retaining pin into the bolt carrier and thus locking the bolt to the rear. I had to get at it through the back door. Buffer tube removal ensued.
buffer re-install happened.
Tomorrow will tell whether or not it worked.
