I know the Stetson Hills area got some 2"+ hail. Ruined a lot of my friend's stuff.

Honestly, I'm starting to hate Colorado summers. Every day, its "Thunderstorms with chance of hail". This is why we can't have nice things.
Why do the hail storms always go around the Colfax & Wads area?

I usually get hail at my place about once every two years. It's usually pea sized and seldom lasts more than a minute or two.
My truck is always parked out in the driveway. Zero hail damage in seventeen years.
Also, my roof is right twenty years old.
I do feel bad for all of you guys that keep getting pounded.
My roof probably won't get done til fall . . . like August or Sept. The adjuster from State Farm was out the other day and said "yup--your roof is trashed . . . but it's not a leak danger and you might as well wait til after hail season to replace it." Many of my neighbors have gotten theirs done already, but some of them had bad leaks.
Since we could get another storm yet this summer (or several) I'll just ride it out rather than risk another deductible coming up.
