They're not smashing the juice out of them. They start with a big meatball caramelizing in butter, then smash it flat while it's mostly raw and let it cook on both sides.

This store is nearby me and I'm truly surprised. I really can't remember if there was any music being played while my wife and 5yr old dined here either. Two things 1: Playing that song while LE were present is clearly inappropriate and disrespectful. Had to be one bad employee with a terrible idea 2: If LE weren't present and that song was being played, I would have approached the Manager and reamed his ass out for playing a song full of F-bombs while kids are eating. They know who did it as I've seen where the security cameras are positioned in the building. I haven't been back.

Were the employees not afraid of being shot?
