Other articles state the manager has been placed on leave while they investigate.

As in any of these situations we just have to use good judgement and determine if what we are seeing is the result of the culture of the organization or simply acts of an individual. How the company responds has a lot to do with it. I can assure you that every company out there has some knuckleheads working for them.

My wife and I once went into a comic book store looking for something for one of our kids. Within a minute she told me she was going out to the car and would wait for me there. I asked her what was wrong and she asked if I could hear the lyrics on the song they were playing. Besides being half deaf, I don't pay attention to most music in stores. When I listened for a second, it was a constant stream of profanity. We left and never went back. I considered letting the manager know but didn't because I don't frequent the store and don't really care about that business. I can't recall if that store is even still open, but don't care.

Smashburger is OK once in a while. I'm not sure I recall there being music in the stores I've been in.

Sometimes I miss having good hearing...but not often.

I'm guessing the music was the least of their problems compared to what the employees probably did to their food.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

US cop pulls over college student for speeding... then shows him to tie his necktie before a big presentation

    • Menomonie cop Martin Folczyk pulled over a U of Wisconsin-Stout student
    • Student explained he was driving to his friend's house, hoping to get his tie tied
    • But his friend wasn't home and the student was running late for his presentation
    • Folczyk then asked the student for his tie, and began to knot it on his own neck
    • He even tied the necktie a second time when he thought it looked too long
    • Sweet moment was captured on the dashboard camera on Folczyk's patrol car

Good on 'im. The policeman that is. I hope said student takes this as a learning experience and gets himself dialed in.

One if the problems many college students have today is they haven't been held to any professional standard and are lost when they get out into the real world. Unfortunately, this also applies to many shift managers who work at establishments where it is expected that the employee will be gaining work experience, doing things like learning how to work an alarm clock, manage time and money, treat others professionally, and be part of a team, and moving on.

For those who didn't have a Father, Scout leaders, and/or NCOs to guide them, here is one of my favorite rabbit holes, this link shows how to tie a tie....
