Just about 6AM and still just raining here in the Springs. When the weather does hit it will be a nasty sheet of ice under everything.

Just called my office. Two coworkers are @ work. I'm not taking the chance of the Base deciding that "Closed to Non-mission essential personnel" changes to "Closed to everyone" and I get locked on base. I've got family off the base that might need me. I got called a wuss but I can live with that.

Took 2 strong power hits @ my house 2 minutes before 0600. Lost internet until my DSL moden/WiFi router rebooted. It was like living in the 1800's there for a minute with no internet and all. Positively primitive.]

At work in Denver. Hopefully I can make it back home this morning/afternoon without any drama. The wind across I-70 was pushing my truck around on wet roads.

It's snowing moderately now with 2.5" of fresh stuff on the ground, but no wind yet. I might drive the plow to town to gas it up. If we get one of those 3-4 ft. dumps, I'll be busy. May even have to chain up.

Boulder courts are closed for the day and county offices are scheduled to close at noon.

Started raining early this morning when I finally went to bed (about 12:30 am) . . . and still raining pretty heavy now.

Transportation and all field ops are run from my division. Not a popular guy this morning with the "Business as usual" email/text to all staff this morning.

They are all hanging their hopes of a short day on the "Will update between 11-1" comment at the end.

Haha ^ Im at work too. Be here all day no matter what happens. Ill have no problem getting home as long as the morons stay inside today.
I assume a lot of the schools being closed will throw a wrench in some family’s day.
