Most cities and townships have permanent ordinances banning fireworks yet do very little to enforce said ordinances until someone's house or apartment building burns down from fireworks.
The fireworks stands usually set up on little patches of unincorporated lands scattered throughout out the Metro area to skirt these laws.
That business on north Federal that sells fireworks year round is just north of the C&C of Denver limits in unincorporated Adams county.
Most folks drive north to Wyoming to get the good stuff.
What is needed is stricter enforcement of all the fireworks laws to drive the message home to the idiots that think fireworks are a right they are entitled to.
Every 4th of July I am out watering down the roof of my house because I can hear the remains of these idiots fireworks hitting my roof.
