Hope the grand jury tosses it out.
I hope the charges don't stick. If they do, then what does that say about this broken "justice" system, regarding protecting our own family. I'd do the same if it was my own daughter.

And if that's the case that would be better than not being charged at all because charges would always be hanging above his head. I believe that once the Grand Jury makes their decision it would be "double jeopardy" to charge him again but if charges are never filed they could always be filed sometime down the road.

My prayers go out to the father and his daughter. Any father in that situation would have done the same thing; most father's would have buried that dude out on the land somewhere and never called the cops.
Just not right that anyone wished to pursue the case at all. Imagine having to explain all that took place to your daughter, the fear of a possible sentence for your actions, the cost of lawyer fee's..........somethings just need to be cut and dried. Defense of children is one of them.
