A lawyer once told me that you better have 20k in saving and a ton of free time to fight court battles even if you are on the right side of the law. It's sad that in today's society you are "more guilt, until proven innocent".

Does anyone know the statistics on the cost to fight a concealed carry defense case or how long the average lenght of most court trials and litigation drag on for?

Really, learn to fight? Any specific style you'd like everyone to be proficient in? Should i start some MMA basics, ken po, judo, karate, krav maga. What in your infinite wisdom should "I" become master of?

How about those in wheel chairs and walkers, carrying oxygen, the blind, paraplegic's etc? Not everyone is an able bodied man or woman.

I think the only thing this should serve as a reminder of political opportunists aside is that IF you carry be prepared to use it (and all that entails) otherwise rethink the responsibility. The "reality of our country today" is exactly what is at issue here.

there have been more than a few "stories" where people were an inch away from pulling their carry when the sitution didn't warrant it at all. and most people have no problem with it. well, situations like this are why you have to be incredibly safe.
