This I can go with, your previous statement about how we all (able bodied men, thanks for that correction) should learn how to fight is just an asinine argument. Yes learning a martial art is beneficial and a very healthy option (good workout!), but it is just that, a good idea, not everyone should be expected to be a "fighter" and not everyone should be expected to learn some basics. Some don't due to personal, financial, and time reasons, among others, and that's why many carry guns, to defend themselves because fighting just isn't an option, or they perhaps never want to get into a fight -well no one should want to get into a fight- I sure don't, and I know a bit more than just the basics and don't care to ever have to use that knowledge/skill.Quote:
