Iran Navy Sending Ships Out

maybe they're trying some low-level terrorism, getting their ships close enough to say that their missles are now in range of the Eastern seaboard.

not a real threat, but enough to cause unrest in the public?

They don't need to get this close to make that threat.

I think Byte is the only one who knows this, but it seems like the rest of you might be missing the real threat here. They don't need to try and paddle their dingys over to the Eastern Seaboard, all they have to do is push out a few miles into the Persian Gulf- where we have quite the military contingent force sitting- and start lobbing molotov cocktails (or whatever weapons those camel jockeys use for naval warfare) and we have ourselves an international incident...

you're missing my point- that's only and international incident if they do anything... the military isn't going to be intimidated by their mere presence...

put yourself in the shoes of the average sheep- it's fine for the military to put their lives on the line, they signed up for that- but if they could hurt ME, in Manhattan... holy crap!!!

I'm not talking about where they actually launch anything- are they hoping to scare the sheep in the "on wolf, sheep and sheepdogs" that's what I mean by "low-level terrorism". Just trying to scare sheep with their presence?
