Ouch! Hurts just thinking about it. Best of luck recovering.
More years ago than I care to remember, I slipped on some ice while entering the truck. My instinct has always been to tuck and roll, but that time I caught the back of my head square on the door sill. Them fuckers are hard as nails. I think I maintained consciousness, but things were a bit fuzzy for a minute.
Best wishes on a speedy recovery, BG. Shit happens. Make lemonade. Shit lemonade is actually way better than it sounds. [Flower]
I wish no harm on anyone. (well i am not that pure). Really Bailey and I can argue, but that is no reason to wish him harm. Honestly, try some glucosamine and chondroitin it really does help joints heal. Shoulders are a real pain in life when they go bad. It can effect a persons whole life. I have met people who can not sleep right because of their shoulder. Glucosamine chondroitin and some of the other joint stuff give your body some of the micronutrients that it needs more of in order to help heal joint damage. I know for me, it helps me when I am in pain. I also get that stuff by cooking up a giant pot of Ox Tail stew. It has a lot of that stuff in there and tastes great. But when his joints are healing they need all the building blocks they can get. I know my girl friends father swears by eating a packet of jello a day (it has joint building block stuff in there) and he is doing great for his age.
Dang. Hope you're back up and running soon.
BG, that's awful. I'm sorry to hear what happened, and hope you heal quickly and feel better.
Stupid slick spots. :(
Too bad you can't sue the owner of the establishment. It's gotta be somebody's fault. How about the truck manufacturer? There's a payday in this somewhere for you.
Good luck with the recovery man. Let me know if you run low on Root Beer! [LOL]
I've had a couple. Not much fun. Could have been worse.
Heal up quick!
Ouch, heal up soon!
I know how that feels, slipped on the stairs heading to work about 2 years ago and landed hard on a corner right on my spine. I got the wind knocked out of me and honestly could not move for at least 5-10min I was in so much pain. Didn't hit my head, but was extremely nauseous the next few days if I walked around too much. Spent about a week in bed, good thing I'm young, healed up just fine and no problems to this day.
It could always be worse, just have to remind yourself that. Seriously, you could have made it to work just fine and spent the whole day being bored! [LOL]
