Auto Insurance-who you got??

Because most people have zero idea what they are even paying for. They just shop price. When the agent tries to explain the coverage they just repond with "Yeah yeah, so it's how much?" They pay the money and leave. The agent might hear from them next if they have a claim. You sit down with an agent and get an idea of what is out there, and what you want, and everyone is betrer off.

Agents CAN get discounts to write a policy, but they sure aren't going to stick their neck out for some no name that is looking for bottom dollar and changes companies every year.

State Farm here for ~+30 years.

Family history with state farm, just kept buying their insurance. We currently have a great agent, to many details to type up here, but they treat us well. I've had misc. claims for things and rates never change. Agent explains things very well and calls us for coverage checkups.

4 cars, camper, house policies. Cheaper than I can get anywhere else, mainly because of no major accidents/tickets/claims.

State Farm does have the Accident Forgiveness like other companies, they just don't advertise it.

Similar situation with State Farm. Our family agent has been very good to us, unfortunately he's retiring after 35 years with the company. I found a new agent up here in Thornton, and he's pretty good also, pro 2a to boot!

Thought about having my LLC buy a truck. My insurance rates would be crazy though. Almost doubles my current rates.

Why? Because it would be insured commercially? I'd say that you don't HAVE to insure it commercially, but I'd be giving you bad advise if I did. Another example of how a good relationship with a good agent will benefit you.

Fair enough. I guess I just don't have any complicated insurance needs. I have two old vehicles...no big conference needed. I do go over all of the details myself though. I guess many folks don't want to bother and want someone to explain it to them instead.

I've never had auto insurance with anyone but USAA (qualified through my Dad when I was a kid; later by myself).

For insurance, they're great. I even get a small rebate.

I'll never give them another home loan, however.
