The fact that you are in one of the friendliest crowds toward 2A in here and being told not to shoot over a car ought to tell you something. Unless you're living in your car, you can't consider it an extension of your home and going out with your trusty 1911 after asking for help and being told various options short of starting a gunfight is just asking for a charge of premeditation.
Some of the "advice" in here sounds like plants from the Brady Bunch just itching to have a story they can exploit. I know you're not -- but you might as well be.
The chances of you getting into any violent encounter are fairly low... yet most of us here carry. The chances of your house or your kids' school burning down are extremely low... yet there are fire alarms in every hallway and many people have home security systems.Quote:
