I think one of the great things about this country is that I'm not compelled to buy something just because somebody else thinks it's great (like a G19 [Puke])

Every American should have a rifle, shotgun and pistol of their choosing. (at a minimum)
Some may choose to only have American made firearms, others may prefer foreign born guns... and still others think they're scary, and don't want any of them in their house.
I'd still like to have a M1 Garand, but I can live without one.
My grandfather carried a M1 Carbine- but I'm willing to wait a VERY long time to get it, since that would require the passing of my father.
