What gun should every gun enthusiast have to have?

I think one of the great things about this country is that I'm not compelled to buy something just because somebody else thinks it's great (like a G19 )

Wait, aren't we waiting to hear something about that very subject from the SCOTUS this week?

Every American should have a rifle, shotgun and pistol of their choosing. (at a minimum)
Some may choose to only have American made firearms, others may prefer foreign born guns... and still others think they're scary, and don't want any of them in their house.

I'd still like to have a M1 Garand, but I can live without one.
My grandfather carried a M1 Carbine- but I'm willing to wait a VERY long time to get it, since that would require the passing of my father.

they make great ear protection...just ask the ATF guy in the picture that floats around. they also make great paperweights and have enough heft that they can be thrown. or the best thing to do is buy any glock in .40, give it to the enemy and the guns will actually blow up and take care of all your problems

I just like to rile up the Glock fanboys. I have a couple glocks (not a .40 that's for damn sure) and like them well enough...even trust my life to them
