Opinions on UFOs?

I have a theory I want to share... What if there is intelligent life capable of coming here? Do you honestly believe that they want to come visit us? I think they'd be afraid we'd either A) Shoot on sight (I mean really, look at our movies), B) Capture them and "probe" them- the government would love to see what makes them tick, or C) Try and fork them (See Captain Kirk). Plus I don't think we'd be invited to the intergalactic assembly when they find out some teenager threw her newborn baby into a dumpster.

One of the biggest "secrets" surrounding Area 51 is that it is an ecological nightmare. Lots of highly toxic chemical waste that is not being handled in a safe manner. EPA has no jurisdiction there. A lot of people have gotten seriously ill, and some of these chemicals are experimental so no-one knows the health hazards or long term effects. I heard that there is at least one secret landfill just off base filled with improperly sealed 50 gallon drums of mystery waste, and that spills occur fairly regularly.

No "aliens" though.

I think there probably many other intelligent life forms out there. Some might even be into exploration.

I simply do not understand why they would travel light years just to look up people's butts. Proctologists from another world?

Intelligent life on other planets? Hell, I'm still trying to find intelligent life on THIS one...[ROFL1]

My take is that in the last 100 years we just figured out how to fly, got space craft and traveled a decent distance (relative to the universe), but what we have really done is probably just walked to the end of the driveway when there is an entire neighborhood to explore.

I would guess there is some sort of other life form out there and once we reach far enough we may very well see them. Money, War, technology, and the desire to get there will all have a major impact on how far we get.

Perhaps there is a vested interest? Not to add ingredients and stir the pot a little more, but when you compare the human species to the others on this planet, we do seem to hold some unfair advantages even though on a level to level account I'd wager money on wildlife nearly every time because..... we human break easy by comparison. What if one of the particular species on this planet, (human ancestor) was 'augmented' or otherwise experimented with in such a way to cause our evolutionary differences? Its a thought.... I'm not really sure the answer is up our ass, maybe someone should tell these aliens that a sample will come out on its own.... unassisted, or even a laxative..... I'm sure, much more comfortable for the control sample than to shove something up there to go looking for it. Just saying.....

Well, ponder our human "instincts".... we're one of the creatures that tends to look toward light sources.... have you seen the movie Cowboys & Aliens yet? Entertaining and interesting in my humble opinion, good movie.... wish Olivia Wilde would have shown a little more, but still, worth watching. While we're not the only creature on this planet its an exploitable trait and one we even use against each other.

We also respond to various stimuli that can disable or render us passive. Maybe an alien source with a vested interest is already aware of this and isn't afraid of our feeble technology.

If we capture and probe one of them that too is a scientific learning experience for them. It suggests that what/if any augmentation our species may have gone through has evolved into question and study for our further evolution.

Lastly does anyone remember back in the day when channels like Discovery and Nat Geo presents, simply observed a creature in the wilds and didn't intrude too much? Or am I falling back into "old guy" status again?.... Anyway, to watch and observe can be a good thing for both the studying party and the studied. Again, all just thoughts.....

For all I know we could be just like a mound of ants awaiting that great magnifying glass held by the all powerful 9 year old with an afternoon of boredom and curiousity ahead otherwise.

Told them that he was part of a very tight knit family and thats why they stayed with her like that. She nick named them spy one and spy two.

Who ever and whatever my uncle did I have no clue, but I know he knew experimental aircraft. Only reason I know this is because he told me that when he retired from the Air Force his friend had a job waiting for him in that field.

Now how it relates to this post. Once at his house my little brother pestered him the entire time about,"Are there Aliens". After a few days he told my little brother to shut the fuck up!! There's no such thing as aliens!!! That's words from the highest security clearance guy I'll ever know. Now maybe his was just getting pissed...maybe it was hitting a nerve because little brother was getting warm. The world may never know...but that's the only time I ever seen my uncle get mad or use language like that towards a kid. He was normally a very easy going kind of quiet guy.
